Therapist Training
The Therapist Training at the Humaniversity is built on the traditional model of learning. First you learn and practice, until you are able to assist, and then, later you teach yourself.
Level I and level II of the training is being offered in the Netherlands, England, Sweden and Canada.

The Humaniversity Therapist Training provides you with experiential education in three main forms:
- Inner Awareness: You will develop a comprehensive awareness and appreciation of your psychological states and needs in a wide range of situations through clinically managed experiential therapeutic processes.
- Apprenticeship: You will gain a steady, step-by-step proficiency in "hands-on" clinical management of people in a wide range of situations. You will be guided under the supervision of experienced professional therapists.
- Tuition: Your experiential education is balanced with theoretical knowledge provided in stimulating, active and inter-active tutorials.
Direct experience generates awareness, insight, skill and wisdom. This encourages a high professional standard in the therapeutic care of the client and in the quality of professional rapport and co-operation with those who work with you.
A WORLD OF VALUABLE EXPERIENCEYour training will take you through a comprehensive range of themes which are important in human psychology. These include emotional expression, bodywork, authority, sexuality, encounter, sensitivity, creativity, meditation, martial arts and communal living.
The apprenticeship approach to education provides you with ever-increasing quantity and quality of experience in the clinical care of others. First, you go through a process of self-exploration in the specific field you have chosen. Then, when you have enough experience and knowledge from within, you start to assist established therapists under supervision. When you have achieved enough experience in assisting, you start to work professionally with people in your own right, adding your unique creativity to everything you have learned.
