The Humaniversity Sound Studio
is an on-going creative adventure

It is 5: 00 o'clock in the morning. The last groupies have collapsed over their mattresses. The house is asleep. Only in the Studio some maniacs are working on a new groove for a new song. Dawn is breaking, and they start dancing in the cold morning breeze, waking up the birds with their mad laughter.

One hour later they are sitting on the sofas, trying to think of a memorable sax riff. The conversation drifts to memories, sex, jealousy, the invention of a saxophone parachute, computer music versus live performance. They listen endlessly to the song they're working on, getting lost and stoned on the music.

Veeresh spends a lot of time in the Studio, a small and cozy underground meeting place, an inofficial Sanctuary. Whenever Veeresh is leading a group, he looks for more challenges, such as painting clothes and mirrors, making a new song, creating dreams and visions, provoking the world.

The Studio is the place where the group program is created. Staff members drift in and out. Guests come to say hello to Veeresh and talk about what's going on in the world. Bavala drops in to present the Magazine or make a horoscope with Veeresh. There is roaring laughter when Amir tells his obscene South African jokes. Couples talk about their relationship problems, while Rakendra is trying to "fly in" a sampled dog's bark. Pragit recommends two dates a day, regardless of whether it is a liver complaint or sore eyes, persecution anxiety or house maid's knee, or general fucked-up-ness.

'WOW!' Screams of joy from the musicians who were working around the keyboards, computers, and mixing desk. They've found a new guitar riff, the kind of tune that goes straight to your G-Spot.

The Studio looks like a chaotic affair, but, in fact, it is the most creative and relaxed place you can imagine. It seems far away from the hectic kitchen and the chaos of the group room, the center of the cyclone. Veeresh is rapping. He magically fits his words in to the flow of the music, so easy, so relaxed. Everything fits.

Here he makes CD's that are listened to all over the world, by people in Byron Bay watching the dolphins and by friends everywhere.
