As the name suggests, the Humaniversity is a human university. It is concerned with enriching and fulfilling your potential as an authentic human being.Everything at the Humaniversity is geared towards the development of a range of personal skills and arts - The Human Arts - so that whatever life path you take, you can pursue it with self-awareness, competence, heartfulness, fire and creativity.
The Humaniversity calls itself a School for Masters, in the sense that it teaches people to become masters of their life - masters in the Art of Being Human.
WHO YOU ARE - NOT WHAT YOU KNOW
Entry to the Humaniversity is not determined according to your intellectual capabilities, your previous examination marks or what you already know. Instead, it is determined by your willingness and commitment to learn about yourself.
The Humaniversity is not focused on testing your intellect. Rather, it is interested in developing, integrating, realising and accepting the totality of your intelligence as a human being - your mental, physical, emotional and spiritual intelligence: then you can 'be', truly and fully, who you are and enjoy being who you are.
AN EXPERIENTIAL UNIVERSITY
What you learn will be first-hand, direct knowledge about yourself and others around you. Many universities regard psychology as the science of mind and, therefore, emphasise the study of psychology by scientific methods. The Humaniversity adopts a different orientation. Throughout the course of your study you will systematically be introduced to ever-increasing experience and responsibility in group psychotherapy. Step by step, you will be taught the Art of Therapy by the vastly experienced therapists of the Humaniversity staff.
By the completion of your studies, you will be greatly experienced both in the theory and practice of working with people. At most universities, you would not directly experience working with people in a therapeutic process until the completion of your studies. At the Humaniversity you will accumulate a substantial record of personal experience and exposure to a multi-symptomatic cross-section of people as part of your studies.
